CCP2 Python4kids-intermediate level $800
This intermediate level course is for those students who have mastered the basic concepts of Python programming language. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to understand more complex concepts and programming paradigm (a.k.a. object oriented programming) with increased confidence.
The course (major contents) covers:
introduction to basic design patterns and algorithms
advanced knowledge on Strings and List/Tuple,
introduce complex data type dictionary and set,
more loops and conditions (control flows),
more functions and modules,
most importantly introduce object oriented programming (class/object, inheritance/polymorphism/composition/abstraction),
generators/decorators,
file input/output,
exception handling
intermediate game development in Pygame
The homework assignments are managed by Google Classroom.
Student age is preferred from 11-15.

辩论中级班针对在入门课程中已掌握基础技能的学生。将学习渐进式辩论技巧，有策略的选择论点，多角度分析论点、构思反驳辩词，准备高质量的辩词。用具有挑战性的辩论主题专注于训练学生特定的辩论技巧，以帮助学生在扩展知识的同时提升能力，为进入初中辩论队做准备。
This class aims to build on the skills already developed in the introduction course. It begins a students journey into progressive debate and introduces a more advanced environment. Students learn to be more aggressive. This class narrows down the focus of specific elements of debate and dives deeper, allowing students to become more proficient in the style of Public Forum.

FLL1 FLL Explorer $500
This class is offered at 2 different class hours (9:50am and 10:55am). Please select the class hour that fits your schedule.
FLL Explore program is for students in 1st grade through 4th grade (age: 6 to 10 years old). There will be an estimate of 30 classes, with 45 minutes in each class. The course will be taught in English and Chinese.
More than just robotics! Kids gain soft skills and hard knowledge.
We will cultivate teamwork skills by working together in groups; inspire social responsibilities by learning science and research on real world problems; nourish creativity and imagination through design and build Lego set; develop programming skills with SPIKE Essential software; improve presentation and public speaking skills by showcase our Lego project and science research with poster boards. At the end of the school year, kids will present and share their Lego project and science research as a team at the Annual FLL Explore Expo, hosted by Livingston Robotics Club (LRC).
LEGO Education SPIKE Essential curriculum pack provides an excellent platform for teaching robotics and programming in a fun and creative way. Kids will have hands-on experience using the SPIKE Essential set and software to build and program.
