CLAR 黑管基础班Clarinet Beginner $500
黑管占据Band的主要位置，也是每年NJ Regional Band 和 All State Band 招收人数较多的乐器。
黑管初级课程专为有一定基础基或零基础的孩子设计，通过轻松有趣的教学方式，学习基本指法、呼吸方法, 提升音准、节奏感和演奏技巧和简单乐曲，帮助孩子掌握黑管演奏入门技能，培养节奏感和音乐兴趣。
课程主要面向grade 3-7 年级小朋友。
需要小朋友自带黑管上课。
The clarinet holds a prominent position in school bands and is one of the instruments with the highest number of participants accepted into the NJ Regional Band and All-State Band each year.
This beginner clarinet course is designed for children with little to no prior experience. Through a fun and engaging teaching approach, students will learn basic fingerings, breathing techniques, improve their pitch accuracy, sense of rhythm, and playing skills while practicing simple songs.
The curriculum also includes games and ensemble playing, allowing children to learn joyfully, gain confidence, and enhance their overall musicality. These activities also provide opportunities to interact with classmates playing the same instrument, laying a solid foundation for more advanced study in the future.
This course is primarily designed for students in grades 3 to 7.
Students are required to bring their own clarinet to class.

CPP 琵琶、古筝与阮 初级课程琵琶小组课 $500
琵琶、古筝和阮是中国最具代表性的传统弹拨乐器。琵琶被誉为“民乐之王”；古筝是最受欢迎的民族乐器之一；阮的演奏姿势与吉他类似，易于上手，适合有或没有音乐基础的学生。
课程内容包括基础持琴姿势、右手弹挑/拨弦技巧、左手按音训练、节奏与音准训练，逐步掌握简谱识读与初级曲目演奏，如《茉莉花》、《惊蛰》、《渔舟唱晚》等。同时还将介绍乐曲背后的历史文化背景，让孩子在学习中了解中国的传统故事与艺术精神。
本课程专为4岁及以上、零基础或有一定音乐基础的小朋友设计。需要学生自带乐器上课。
The Pipa, Guzheng, and Ruan are three of the most iconic traditional Chinese plucked string instruments.
This beginner course is tailored for children ages 4 and up, with or without prior experience.

HH1 绘画小班 I (适合所有程度的小朋友-请家长准备oil pastels) $550
本课程充满乐趣的创作，培养孩子的手部精细动作、空间感知与创作自信。内容：风景启蒙技巧，学习色彩的叠加与运用，从绵延山丘到晴朗天空的大自然景致。光影的明暗，让孩子理解光线与阴影的关系，练习如何将颜色变亮或变暗。

Suitable for children of all skill levels. This course provides fun, hands-on art activities that develop
children’s fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and creative confidence. Students will learn basic
landscape painting techniques, including color layering and application to create natural scenes like
rolling hills and blue skies, while also exploring light and shadow to understand how to adjust colors for
depth and dimension.
**Friendly Reminder: Oil pastel blending involves hands-on smudging, so please dress your child in art-
friendly clothes.

本课程专为想进一步探索视觉艺术的小朋友设计。让创意更立体、更有深度，全面升级孩子的艺术表达力！内容：立体感结构 (3D) 将扁平的形状变成立体物件如水果，花瓶。构图概念、安排 objects 相互之间的位置和大小比例，掌握前后遮挡与远近感。

This course helps children further explore visual arts by developing more three-dimensional and
expressive artwork. Students will learn to transform flat shapes into 3D objects like fruits and vases, and
study composition through arranging objects, adjusting proportions, and understanding depth through
foreground, background, and overlapping.

HH3 儿童压克力彩绘班(7岁以上学生-另收$50材料费) $550
This course is designed for children ready to explore acrylic painting, helping them build confidence
using real brushes and vibrant canvas paints. Students will learn color mixing, blending, and layering
techniques, create guided artworks from landscapes to objects, and develop their own creative style
while exploring highlights, shadows, and backgrounds to add depth and dimension.
本课程专为挑战丙烯彩绘（压克力彩绘）的孩子所设计！当小艺术家们转化到使用真正的画笔与色彩鲜艳的画布颜料时，他们将在这个过程中建立起满满的自信。内容：学习如何调配客制化色彩、更直接在画布上混色，并像专业画家一样进行丙烯颜料的叠色。跟随步骤指导完成作品，从风景到具体物件，并在过程中加入自己独一无二的创意风格。深入学习如何处理画面中的亮部（高光）、阴影以及背景营造，让画作更具立体感。

This bilingual (Chinese/English) course introduces this unique contemporary steel instrument--developed in Switzerland in 2000--celebrated for its intuitive playstyle and serene tones. Open to kids and adults 1st grade and older with no prior musical experience required, students will learn fundamental performance techniques through 6 diverse pieces in increasing levels of difficulty and enjoy multiple performance opportunities. Participants will need to purchase their own instrument, with ordering info provided after registration.

SKETCH 素描 (Sketch class 另收学生材料费 $60） $750
对象：10岁+
授课内容： 素描 (绘画内容将根据学生的学习情况和绘画水平相应调整)
学生自备工具： 画板、素描纸、素描专用铅笔（2B-3B-4B-5B-6B-8B）。
收取材料费$60的原因：素描课每位学生所使用各类教具，包括学生临摹用教件、画架及教件支架、石膏几何体、石膏五官、石膏人像、写生用静物。所列教具全部均为损耗品，上课期间会出现学生损坏物件的情况，材料费收取经过了校委会同意。
SKETCH Drawing Class (An additional $60 materials fee applies, paid directly to the instructor)

This sketching class is designed to develop students’ foundational drawing skills. The curriculum will be adjusted based on each student’s individual progress and skill level.

VLBM 小提琴初级班 (Violin Beginner) $500

This course will teach basic music theory, how to identify and recognize basic notes and beats, different playing postures and hand exercises, the understanding of rhythm, the potential in learning music, and experiencing the joy of music.
